Sodium bicarbonate, also known as baking Soda, is a natural substance that helps eliminate acidic pH in the body which is important for maintaining health.

Uses of Baking Soda for Skin and Hair

Natural exfoliant

Bicarbonate is alkaline, which means it helps soften the sebum and debris found on the skin for easy removal.

This is why baking soda to exfoliate the face and other parts of our body such as the hands and feet, offers easy ways to eliminate skin problems, such as dead cells.

And since it has such high antiseptic properties, it can help control bacteria on your face, hands and feet, and other areas of skin that you think need it.

Wash your face, hands, or the area where you’re going to apply the baking soda with warm water and a mild soap.

In a small bowl add baking soda, water (for each tablespoon of baking soda are a few drops of water), add a few drops of Vitamin E oil or bee honey. Mix in the consistency of a paste.

Once the paste is not too thick or liquid either, apply to the area with circular movements avoiding the eye contour (when it is on the face)

Baking soda for acne
