Olive oil is given many properties from the cosmetic point of view, especially for the skin and hair. Oils in general are used as home remedies, and in cosmetics for their moisturizing properties, but olive oil is the most common and practically the only one used in Mediterranean cuisine. In Greece olive oil was used as oil for massages, and in Rome to relieve pains of athletes. Today it is known that olive oil has a component called tocopherol, of important cosmetic properties.

The benefits of rosemary to condition dry hair lie in that this spice has properties that help strengthen the follicles, treat premature hair loss, relieve itching of the scalp and reverse the appearance of dandruff, even shown effectiveness in darkening the hair, making it ideal for treating premature gray hair.

Olive oil and rosemary as a moisturizing conditioner

  • 1 small glass bottle
  • 250 ml of olive oil
  • 100 g of fresh rosemary

In an empty bottle place the olive oil, mix with the rosemary leaves and let stand for two days so that the oil absorbs the essence of the rosemary. Shake well before applying on dry hair. Separate the hair by locks and apply with a brush from the tips to a little above half the hair; avoid the roots if your hair is oily, this way you can get the hair to nourish and hydrate to improve the problems of the split ends, including more shine for your hair. As in all cases, always wash afterwards with the natural shampoo of your choice.
